Understanding your extraction results
How to read the Results view and what each section means.
After InvoiceFlow processes an invoice, you'll see the Results view. Here's what each part means.
Header fields
The top section shows the core invoice fields:
- Vendor — the company that sent the invoice
- Invoice number — the vendor's reference number
- Invoice date — when the invoice was issued
- Due date — when payment is expected
- Currency — the currency of the invoice amounts
Amount fields
- Subtotal — the total before tax
- Tax — the tax amount (if any)
- Total — the final amount due
InvoiceFlow validates that Subtotal + Tax = Total. If they don't match, you'll see a warning badge.
Line items
The table below the header shows individual line items extracted from the invoice. Each row has:
- Description — what was purchased or billed
- Quantity — number of units
- Unit price — price per unit
- Amount — quantity × unit price
Confidence badges
Each field has a confidence indicator:
- Green — high confidence, likely correct
- Yellow — lower confidence, worth checking
- Red — validation failed, needs correction
